RIP, Dear Elsa

Today we made the hard decision to let Elsa go. Those who have been long-time FList members know that 14 year old Elsa has been afflicted over the last few years with an aggressive form of squamus cell skin cancer, which has mainly attacked the thin skin of her head. Treatment was not an option.

We had made a pact that when her quality of life could no longer be maintained or assured... well, today was that day. We will miss her terribly, but keeping her any longer would have been for ourselves and that's no way to show our love.

We are in mourning.
