State of the Pink

Well, we're back from the vet's, and the news isn't good. Scarlett has several cancer nodes in her lungs, so amputation of the leg is not a survival option. Chemo might give her more time, but it would probably make her sick, thus negating the all-important quality of life issue.

At this point, we're tending to her needs and keeping an eye on her well-being. The Sis-U is not taking the news well, but no expects her to. :(

My own mammy-gram and ultra-sound are scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.
